
We are pleased to share that our students and supervisors have received multiple awards at the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP) 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting, recognising excellence in cardiovascular and cardiometabolic research, innovation, and clinical pharmacy practice.
Ms Ng Jie Qi, Pharmacy Undergraduate Year 3 entering Year 4 (Class of 2027) received the Best Poster Award in the Cardiometabolic Health, Lifestyle Medicine & Preventive Cardiology category for the poster titled: “Optimising Cardiometabolic Pharmacotherapy in Primary Care Through Pharmacist Integration in Collaborative Prescribing.” The project was conducted under the supervision of Dr Wee Xue Ting, A/Prof Doreen Tan Su-Yin, and Dr Ong Guan Hong as part of the PRP Project AY25/26, in collaboration with project partner Mr Akhsan Nawfal Bin Keyjohan.
These awards recognise excellence in research, innovation, and presentation, and reflect the high quality of work undertaken by our students and faculty. The award-winning projects showcase the growing impact of pharmacist-led interventions, pharmacogenomics, collaborative prescribing, and technology-enabled care in improving cardiovascular and cardiometabolic outcomes.
