The graduate programme includes taking a number of prescribed courses in the same or related field of research. This provides a graduate level foundation and prepares the student for research work. Students also take time to attend and participate in seminars where current research is presented by their peers, staff or visitors.
Master of Science (Pharmaceutical Science & Technology) [MPST]
NUS Department of Pharmacy has been running the MPST since 2008 as a part-time programme. From AY2022-2023 onwards, a full-time programme is available. The MPST programme aims to nurture future leaders in the pharmaceutical industry, and graduates from this programme will be proficient and knowledge-ready to meet the needs and challenges from the industry.

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
The primary objective of the NUS Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) programme is to train pharmacy practitioners to possess leadership qualities, advanced expertise and clinical experience that enable them to be at the forefront of the Pharmacy profession and healthcare in a variety of settings – institutional, community practice, government, academia, industry, translational research and practice development.
National Pharmacy Residency Programmes
The programmes are adapted from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) standards and were locally accredited by the Residency Accreditation Committee appointed by the Pharmacy Specialists Accreditation Board (PSAB).
