We’re excited to share that Prof Eric Chan Chun Yong’s grant proposal, titled ‘Drug Discovery for Cardiac Therapies’, has been selected for the prestigious Innovation Venture Creation Award, with a total project value of $300,000. In addition, the same project has also earned him the Provost’s Innovation Chair Professor Award, a remarkable dual recognition that highlights the groundbreaking potential of his research.

Being the sole recipient from the Faculty of Science makes this recognition especially significant, as it not only reflects his individual excellence but also brings pride to the entire faculty. These prestigious awards underscore the innovative and impactful nature of his research, highlighting their potential to contribute meaningfully to the scientific community.
