We are pleased to share that Phyo Darli Maw, a PhD student under Asst Prof Tang Wei, has received a Poster Presentation Award at the Controlled Release Society (CRS) 2026 Annual Meeting & Exposition, held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 6–9 July 2026.

The award was presented in recognition of the outstanding poster titled: “Mechanistic Insights into Liposomal Disassembly: Effects of Serum Proteins, Lipid Exchange, and Drug Release.” which was selected from a highly competitive field of over 800 poster submissions. The research provides valuable understanding of liposomal stability and drug delivery performance, contributing to the advancement of lipid-based therapeutic systems and controlled release technologies.

The Poster Presentation Award at the Controlled Release Society (CRS), recognises research excellence among the highest-scoring posters presented at the conference. Award recipients are selected by a panel of expert reviewers based on the quality of the research, clarity of presentation, originality, and the potential impact of the work on the field.

Congratulations to Phyo and Wei on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing this research create a positive impact in advancing drug delivery and improving patient care.
