The National Research Foundation’s Competitive Research Programme (CRP) aims to bring together multidisciplinary teams to carry out advanced research that addresses challenges relevant to Singapore and society. It supports use-inspired basic research projects selected through a rigorous merit review process focused on scientific excellence. Proposed projects must be driven by a significant need or problem to solve. By offering substantial funding, CRP empowers researchers to push boundaries and enhance Singapore’s standing as a global research leader.
We are thrilled to share that Prof WU Wei (PI) and Dr TAN Kar Tong (Co-PI), have been awarded in the 32nd Competitive Research Programme (CRP) for their proposal titled ‘Exploiting Tumor-specific RNA-editing for Antigen-based Cancer Therapy (ExTRACT)’ with a total project value of S$6.4 million.
Congratulations on this outstanding achievement, Wei and Kar Tong!
