Epilogue

The Pharmaceutical Innovation and Research Centre (PIRC) together with NUS Enterprise and the Faculty of Science hosted Explain My Research: Drug Delivery Precision Medicine, the first virtual conference showcasing latest research of 15 speakers from 8 countries all around the world. The event attracted 650 signups from 48 countries representing over 400 organizations. After two days of unlimited access to lectures, the conference culminated in a LIVE Panel discussion chaired by Matthias G. Wacker (NUS, Department of Pharmacy, Giorgia Pastorin (NUS, Department of Pharmacy), Melissa Ho (Malvern) and Dirk Beilke (Pharma Test Apparatebau AG). Participants from academia and the pharmaceutical industry engaged in a lively debate on the latest outcomes from emerging areas such as the use of novel in silico methods and AI to advance in drug design, precision medicine, and nanotechnology.
