The Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences invites applicants for Instructor in the Educator Track. Candidates must possess either a Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and is either registered or eligible for registration as Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council. Candidates should be able to deliver large class teaching or small class facilitation , teaching pharmacy practice skills including medication reconciliation, medication review, dispensing, patient counselling, managing minor ailments, and providing drug information. Prior experience in teaching or mentoring students (especially in Institutes of Higher Learning) will be considered an advantage.
Primarily, Instructor will be responsible for the following duties:
- Co-ordinate and teach courses in our B. Pharm. (Hons) programme;
- Support the design, optimization and conduct of practical classes in the undergraduate programmes;
- adaptation of course materials towards blended learning;
- support the design, optimization and co-ordination of experiential learning in the undergraduate programmes;
- support course coordinators in managing communication and administrative needs of courses;
- support department-led pedagogical research.
The specific areas of expertise we are currently looking for include knowledge and practical skills in aspects of pharmacy and pharmacy practice. Candidates with the proficiency in creating online contents and improving user interface will be considered favourably.

The Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences invites applicants for Professors, Associate Professors or Assistant Professors in the Tenure Track (Clinical Pharmacy). Candidates must possess either a PhD or PharmD degree, demonstrated mastery in clinical pharmacy practice and be eligible for registration to practice as a pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council. Importantly, candidates should have demonstrated independence and leadership in an area of research that is of strategic interest. Preferred but not exclusive strategic areas of interest are: Care of the Ageing, Mental Health, Pharmacoeconomics and Precision Medicine. We seek through these appointments to build on existing collaborations with established NUS world-leading researchers in these areas.
The Tenure Track Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor in Clinical Pharmacy is expected to spend approximately 40-60% of the time on clinical practice, teaching and/or administrative duties, and the rest of the time for research scholarship. He/she will lead in the design and conduct of translational, clinical pharmacy and/or health outcomes research, apply for and hold external research grants as appropriate, lead in clinical practice that will impact the practice of pharmacy and provide thought leadership, and contribute to the training of undergraduate and postgraduate Pharmacy students.

The Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the National University of Singapore invites applicants for tenure track faculty positions as Assistant Professors. Candidates need not have degrees in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences but their research areas should be relevant to the study of Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences. The candidate must hold a PhD degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline which would include chemical biology, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, drug delivery, pharmacology, and have an outstanding publication record, an exceptional potential for world-class research and a commitment to both undergraduate and graduate education. Faculty members in the Practice Track are expected to maintain active clinical practice, showcasing continued leadership and contributions to the field, and engaged in research.
