Welcoming our newest academic staff!

We are excited to have four new academic staff on board the Department to join us in this journey of educational transformation.

Meet A/Prof Doreen Tan,

Associate Professor Doreen Tan is familiar to many in the Department. As a NUS Pharmacy alumna (Class of ’97 and PharmD Class of ’12), she has been actively engaged as a reliable clinician-partner for several research projects, as well as a dynamic guest lecturer in our PharmD programme and in numerous workshops over the past several years. She joins the Department now in the Clinical and Pharmacy Practice domain. We look forward to her greater contributions and to exciting new clinical initiatives and research programmes.

Meet A/Prof Camilla Wong,

Dr Camilla Wong is the Chief Pharmacist of Singapore and now an adjunct Associate Professor with the Department. Aside from that, she is the Director for Allied Health Division at Sengkang General Hospital. With more than 20 years of experience in hospital practice and having the overview of the pharmacy and healthcare landscape of Singapore, Dr Wong will certainly enrich and inspire our students.

Meet Dr Kwan Yu Heng,

Dr Kwan Yu Heng (Class of ’13) is an alumnus of the Department. He went on to complete a PhD in Medicine and Doctor of Medicine at Duke-NUS Medical School, and subsequently became a PhD Fellow. As he joins the Department as an adjunct lecturer, we look forward to learning from his sharing and expertise!

Meet Mr Lai Yi Feng,

Another Pharmacy alumnus, Mr Lai Yi Feng (Class of ’10) has come aboard the Department as an adjunct lecturer. After graduation from the Department, Mr Lai embarked on a Master of Public Health programme in NUS. He had worked for more than 8 years as a pharmacist in the Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital. At present, he is a Project Manager at the Ministry of Health Office for Healthcare Transformation.
