New Faculty Spotlight: Mrs Jane Hannigan

Let us warmly welcome Mrs. Jane Hannigan, who joins us as an Instructor in our department. Originally from Ireland, Jane relocated to Singapore recently and brings with her valuable international perspectives and experience. We are delighted to have her onboard and look forward to her contributions to our teaching and learning community in NUS.

Meet Instructor, Mrs Jane HANNIGAN,

Hi, I’m Jane, and I recently joined the Department as an Instructor. I completed my BSc (Pharm) and MPharm at Trinity College Dublin and RCSI, respectively, before moving to the UK to practice as a clinical pharmacist. I later undertook further postgraduate training at University College London, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and the Clinically Enhanced Pharmacist Independent Prescribing qualification. I worked at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London as a senior pharmacist and independent prescriber within the respiratory pharmacy team, where I developed a particular interest in the management of patients with cystic fibrosis. More recently, I was part of the inpatient pharmacy team at Singapore General Hospital from February 2025 to February 2026, before joining NUS in March 2026. I look forward to contributing to the development of undergraduate pharmacy students at NUS and supporting them in preparing for successful and fulfilling careers in pharmacy
