Meet Dr Tan Kar Tong,

“Hi, I am Kar Tong, and have recently joined the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences as an Assistant Professor. I received my undergraduate degree in Life Sciences and Chemistry previously at NUS, and then my PhD degree in Computational Genomics and Bioinformatics at Harvard University. I am incredibly honoured to now return to my alma mater to contribute to both research and teaching at the university, where the emphasis of my research will be in understanding how somatic mutations drive both cancer and other aging associated disorders”
