We are delighted to announce that Dr Gloryn Chia has been selected as a recipient of the highly prestigious EMBO Global Investigator Award. This award, conferred by the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), recognizes exceptional early-career scientists who are driving impactful research in the life sciences. Beyond funding and resources, the award offers access to an elite international network of scientists, fostering collaboration, leadership development, and participation in EMBO’s renowned programs.

The EMBO Global Investigator Network supports outstanding group leaders within six years of establishing their laboratories in regions such as Singapore, India, Chile, and Taiwan, with recent expansion to Africa through the EMBO Director’s Special Fund. Recipients benefit from four years of support for networking activities, training opportunities, mentoring, and engagement with EMBO events, joining a distinguished community of over 800 investigators worldwide.
