Please join us in congratulating Prof Giorgia Pastorin, Prof Ang Wee Han, Jia Xuan Kee, and their collaborators on the publication of their latest review article in Chemical Reviews (JCR, IF 55.8), titled “Colorectal Cancer at the Crossroads: The Good, the Bad, and the Future of Platinum-Based Drugs”.
This nearly 100-page review provides a comprehensive overview of colorectal cancer (CRC), platinum-based chemotherapeutics, immunotherapy, and experimental models. It sets a new benchmark for scholarly excellence in the field and highlights the potential of platinum-based drugs in future cancer therapies.
The work is a result of international collaboration and interdisciplinary efforts, featuring contributions from the Bionanotechnology (BNT) group at the Department of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. Special recognition goes to Jia Ning Nicolette Yau, Ram Pravin Kumar Muthuramalingam, Xinyi Wang, and Wei Heng Chng for their significant roles in this achievement.
