Congratulations to Dr Han Zhe on receiving the Annual Teaching Excellence Award (ATEA) 2022! The award recognises outstanding educators across the university for their achievements in teaching. Dr Han also received the ATEA in 2019.

Congratulations to Mr Lloyd Tang (PhD candidate under Prof Eric Chan)! He was chosen as the Highlighted Trainee Author for the August 2022 issue of the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (JPET).

Year 2 Pharmacy student Kelvin Tan, and alumni Sia Chi Hon (Class of ’21) and Nicholas Teo (Class of ’18) were recently featured in Rice Media where they gave insights to the work that Pharmacists do, debunking myths and misconceptions around the profession.

Congrats to Professor Eric Chan on the latest development of an improved pharmaceutical drug for the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF) and it took a 8-member research team 8 years to achieve this breakthrough.

Congratulations to A/Prof Go Mei Lin for being awarded the Honorary Fellowship in July 2022! The award recognises Associate Professors on retirement for their positive contributions to the University and its community at the Faculty level.

Prof Eric Chan and his team developed a virtual simulation strategy using physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modelling to evaluate the pharmacotherapy of two COVID-19 drugs, Paxlovid and baricitinib. They hope to help guide dose adjustments for those in the vulnerable population.
