
We are delighted to share some exciting news: Ram Pravin Kumar Muthuramalingam, a PhD student under Prof. Giorgia Pastorin, has won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the International Conclave on “Health & Environment through Interdisciplinary Approaches in Chemistry” (IC-HEIAC 2025), held at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, from November 25–27, 2025, in celebration of VIT’s 40th anniversary.
This achievement is particularly noteworthy as Pravin secured the top honor among about 85 presenters of oral talks and posters. Along with the award, he also received a one-year membership to the American Chemical Society.
VIT, ranked among the top 20 universities in India in University, Research, and Engineering categories (NIRF Ranking, Govt. of India 2025), has emerged as one of India’s leading institutes and aspires to become a global leader in education.
