We are proud to launch the second iteration of InSPIRxE (Inspiring Students in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science through Interactions and Enrichment), our flagship mentorship programme organised by NUSPS Academic Committee and NUS Pharmacy Alumni Group! Up from 16 mentors in the inaugural run, the second run is grateful to have 22 alumni mentors to coach 38 undergraduate mentees for the next 9 months in developing themselves professionally and finding their #PassionPridePurpose.

We kickstarted the programme with a physical networking session on 16 July 2022 where the mentors and mentees had the opportunity to meet in-person and find out more about each other! Close to 40 mentors and mentees gathered at PPS Hub on a Saturday afternoon to network, mainly via an activity we termed “Island Hopping”. Mentors were positioned at “islands” or tables while the mentees hopped from one table to another, and all members at the “islands” answered a set of casual, light-hearted questions. The event ended with refreshments, enabling further interactions between the participants. Enjoy the photos taken during the event in the slideshow below!
