Warmest welcome to the Pharmily!

As we prepare for a new academic year, let us introduce you to 3 of our new academic staff. It is our great pleasure to have these new additions, and we look forward to working with and learning from them.

Meet Dr Chen Wenqian,

Dr Chen joins the Department as an Assistant Professor. He completed his undergraduate and Ph.D. study in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, before moving on to work as a research associate. Some of his research expertise are bioseparation, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and peptide synthesis.

Meet Dr Tan Yeong Lan,

An alumna, Dr Tan completed her Ph.D. in the area of liver toxicology under the supervision of A/Prof Ho Han Kiat in the Department. She is now an Instructor, assisting in the undergraduate programmes. Dr Tan was a practicing retail pharmacist and has prior experience in pharmacovigilance.

Meet Ms Siti Nur Haziqah,  

Ms Haziqah, our Teaching Assistant, is involved in the delivery as well as undertaking developmental work of the B. Pharm. (Hons) programme. She has just returned home to Singapore having completed her B. Pharm. (Hons) at Curtin University (Western Australia).
