Our experience and expertise in formulation design has generated many collaborative opportunities to develop and patent drug delivery systems via the transdermal and pulmonary routes. Specialized gels, skin patches and emulsions have been extensively studied to overcome some of the current problems associated with this route of drug delivery. In pulmonary drug delivery, surface topography of carrier particles are studied for the design of better inhalation products.
Matrix Compaction
In-depth studies have been carried out to investigate the functionality and influence of different polymers on drug release profiles from oral modified release dosage forms prepared by direct compression. Such dosage forms are attractive due to the ease of manufacture and enhanced patient compliance.
